seeing asutralia as a country of multicultualism, i realized that it reminds me of a book i read about an australian who moved to France to settle. this young woman found it difficult to adapt the norms of French. i guess that what will mostly happen when moving to Aussie. so, just get yourself ready and well prepared when moving there.

Uhmmmm…. Your comment burns me to go to Aussie as soon as possible… Okay, I will prepare anything when the time is coming. I hope it will become true immediately.
We consider that Australia is an Education country.many students from Indonesia and other countries study there.they can also work part time job to get the additional money maybe become the fruitpicking, shop keeper and even taxi driver.my question is. do we need to take a new driving licence to drive a car or motorcycle there? or is it still valid our Indonesian driving licence in Australia?can we use it?
Well, that are good questions. In my opinion, I’m not sure that we can use our Indonesian driving license in Aussie. I believe that Aussie has the different requirements and steps from Indonesia about those who can have the driving license. I’m sorry before because I haven’t had the sources to support my opinion. However, I will find it and tell you then via this blog or maybe face to face after I get the source. *_*
Today We have environment of australia as a topic after i read little bit about it last night exactly in wikipedia especially about water and i found the words “the Commonwealth Environmental Water Holder” what does it mean actually?anyone can explain me about it?and i little bit confused about watering system in austalia.hopefully i will get more explanation about it in class
Words such as Mate and Cheers are widely used when an Australian is talking to each other, even with someone they don’t know very well. Australians are very friendly, and they may start a conversation with anyone easily, giving the impression that they are all happy. In school and at home they teach to respect another person, and frequently when we walk in the morning on the beach, we receive at least a dozen of Good Days. The same in relation to the word “Please” and “Thank you”, and if you do not ask properly for something, you may be simply ignored. This is the case that education has been incorporated by the habit, and despite many of the young generation not showing good manners, the respect is still very alive in society.
i’ve found this unique information about Australian habit in web if all of you would like to know or read more about it you can visit this link http://www.portaloceania.com/au-life-habits-ing.htm
Is the phrase: “No worries” really an uniquely Australian saying? Do any of you non-Australians say or hear it on a regular basis (from non-Aussies)?
The first British settlement in Queensland was at Moreton Bay.
It was established when explorer John Oxley and Settlement Commandant Lieutenant Miller, together with a crew and 29 convicts, arrived at Redcliffe on 13 September 1824 to start a new penal colony. The settlement was established at Humpybong, but abandoned less than a year later when the main settlement was moved 30km away, to the Brisbane River.
Just out of interest, the name “Humpybong” was given by the local aborigines to describe the “dead huts” left behind, “humpy” being huts, and “bong” meaning “dead”, or “lifeless”. The name is still used today.
Last night one question came up to my mind i wonder how the british colony reach the australia especially in queensland and i searched it in wiki.answer.com and i found the answer like what i wrote above.hopefully it can be nice information for all of you
Well, guys.. From wikipedia, I found that Australia has the developed world’s highest per capita carbon dioxide emissions: Tons of CO2 per year:
1. Australia:10
2. US
Sorry, I will continue my question above…
2. US :8.2
3. UK :3.2
4. China:1.8
5. India: 0.5
fROM THAT SOURCES, WE KNOW THAT 3 BIS COUNTRIES HAVE DISADVANTAGED THE WORLD. wHAT DO YOU THINK about it? Do you know what the government does, especially in Australia, to solve this problem???
Mr. Syarif said that in Aussie there is no percentage of attendance because it is not important. The important ones are participation, assignment, and assessment. If this happen in Indonesia, the university will be quiet because students would be lazy to attend the class. So, what about in Aussie? What about the participation of the students to attend the class? Maybe Mr. Syarif can help to answer this question… Thanks b4..
Hi, guys… I have a question that makes me confuse.
Why the rugby and footy players in Australia do not use the helmet and body protector just like in US? It is so dangerous, isn’t it? Why doesn’t the government make the new rules/policy to save the players’ life while playing those games?
Wow…!!! I just wonder, why P. Syarif’s blog in PMI 3 is so quiet?? Where is the other??
